Skywatches around the world will witness a total lunar eclipse when the
Sun, Earth & Moon align.

The Moon will pass close to the centre of the Earth's Umbral or Inner - shadow.
This is not common, since it usually passes above or below the imaginary line
connecting Earth & Sun.

Why The MoonWill Turn Red?

The Moon goes vivid orange or red during the total eclipse because of the filtering and refracting effect of Earth's atmosphere -
Light scattering through is reduced to predominantly red wavelengths, which reflect off the lunar surface.

The color and brightness of the Moon would depend in how much dust and clouds are present in Earth's atmosphere.
